The type of peas used (dry or germinating) is the independent variable.
The amount of oxygen consumption is the dependent variable.
To measure the dependent variable, read the respirometer.
The control group is the respirometer with glass beads.
The constants in this experiment are the volume of the peas inside the respirometer, the size of the respirometer and the amount of KOH in each vial.
Only one trial was conducted.
